Inspired by the ideals of 'Vishwa Bharati' of Gurudev Rabindranath Tagore and 'Antar Bharati' of Sane Guruji and with a deep desire to help Bastar students, an idea of 'HAM Education' was conceived by Mr. H.M Hanif Barvatiya in the year 2006. The motto of “HAM Social Welfare Society” is to provide education mainly to the tribal and village people of Bastar and the Society has been successful in achieving its targets since last 8 years.
Presently, HAM Education is taken over by HAM Institute of Technology and Management and got the status of being a non-profit organization registered under Section 25 of Companies Act 1956. Right from the beginning HAM is focused towards the development of students and society as a whole.
HAM Group is divided in following subgroups
HAM Institute of Technology and Management comprises of various institutes imparting training in diverse disciplines in Chhattisgarh. It has students who hail from all states of India and different districts. HAM Society is also known for its Multicultural and Multi lingual institutions. An institution, where academic democracy prevails. Where law is the religion and freedom of thought and expression is the spirit. Where equality is not preached but practiced. Where Innovation, Passion and Compassion is nurtured.
Mr. H. M Hanif Barvatiya, the Founder of HAM Social Welfare Society, and Mr. Sahil Barvatiya the Founder of HAM Institute of Technology and Management worked during his lifetime in order to bring social justice, international understanding and scientific approaches to the problem of the society. Higher education played a crucial role in student’s life.
Their innovative ways of imparting education and proactive programs for changing the economy has made HAM known for its brand of education.
